The Erudee Foundation makes grants as follows:
1. The student must plan to pursue a higher degree in a field related to the health sciences.
2. Grants will be in the amount of up to USD 1,000 per semester (two semesters per year).
3. The grant will be made directly to the educational institution if approved by the Foundation as a provider of higher education (see below).
If you are a student and meet the following basic criteria, download this application and send it to us for consideration by our Scholar Selection Committee.
- We support students in Low Income Countries in the Caribbean (CARICOM) nations and those in East Africa (in the EAC, SADC and Zazibona regions).
- Eligible applicants must be in the final year (and will graduate within 12 months of the application) or have graduated from a recognized secondary school (i.e. a high school level educational institution) that has been approved by the Foundation’s Scholar Selection Committee. Students may also be enrolled in a qualified university or technical school.
- The student’s high school curriculum must be broad based and must have covered courses in general sciences, mathematics, local language, with a preference for applicants who are multilingual (i.e. local language plus English or French or other internationally recognized language).
- The student must have graduated in the top 20th percentile of their class.
- We focus on supporting students who wish concentrate their studies in the health sciences (for example, nursing, medicine, pharmacy, occupational or physical therapy).
